“Jesus wishes to make use of you to make me known and loved. Jesus wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. I promise salvation to those who embrace it, and those souls will be loved by God like flowers placed by me to adorn His throne”
Our Lady to Lucia, 13 July 1917

A Marian Call for the Whole Church

On the 100th Anniversary of the apparitions at Fatima, an event is taking place at Buckfast Abbey.
Fatima 100 years Later
A Marian Call For The Whole Church is being held there on 12th & 13th October 2017.
It is a Marian conference with experts drawn from Britain, Europe and America. It is a time for discussion, a time for listening, a time for reflection upon all that has occurred in the intervening century but, perhaps more than anything else, it is a reminder of how relevant the message of Fatima is today.
The conference is set in the beautiful surroundings of Buckfast Abbey, Devon. The abbey church and the grounds are at the disposal of those attending the conference. All temporal needs – food and accommodation – are provided for. Needless to say, so too are the spiritual needs. There is the opportunity of daily Holy Mass and joining the Benedictine community for Vespers, as well as Holy Rosary, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction.
The theology, the history, and the spirituality of Fatima are all explored over the two days. Indicating the importance of the conference’s theme, no less than Cardinal Raymond Burke will give the opening address.
EWTN will be filming the whole Conference.
